Why one win matters so much to Indy Eleven

 Every win matters. Every win gives you three points and every win proves you are better than your opponent For Indy Eleven up until this past Saturday, it had been 12 matches or 1,080 minutes of narrow defeats, thrashings, and snatching defeat from the jaws of victories. Players have moved on, new ideas have been tried, but above nothing else each week Indy Eleven went out with the intention of going for three points, even if supporters couldn't find the belief that things would be changing. It was a recipe for excitement. Former Indy Eleven goalkeeper Jordan Farr was back for the first time, San Antonio sits in a strong spot in the West. For all intents and purposes - this should have been a match that ended in a similar result to every other match Indy has played during this streak. Indy Eleven fans need to relax; it will all be okay

 For many this season has been like a dream they can't seem to get past every night they go to bed. Poor defending, issues with players' efforts, and generally feeling like the team loses interest after the 70th minute (or right after halftime) are feelings that Indy Eleven fans aren't new to feeling from previous head coaches and many are shocked to feel with the energy that Mark Lowry, the first year head coach, has cast over fans. It's not like Lowry hasn't tried. His energy can be seen on the sidelines each week and his unwillingness to settle for poor performance has seen the team move players and bring in new names to help challenge the existing players.
